Madison Pub in Riverside

The food is good here in the bar. the bar has a friendly neighborhood Vibe and the menu is simple and changes on a daily basis. There are always Burgers available which are very good with fresh cheddar on them. They typically have some entrees that include short ribs. We recently went to the Madison in the evening during happy hour with the hopes of hearing some music and ordering from the Tapas menu that was advertised on their website. When we arrived the music was great. The Pianist was very talented. It was a small space four tables. We were surprised to find out that the Tapas menu was not available, nor were there any happy hour specials at all. It is really just a bar while you wait for your table to be ready.

All around Awesome establishment! Great food Great Service.!! Bon appetite.!

Great Atmosphere and good food

We recently had a big event at The Madison in their “Fireplace” room. Julie was amazing to work with leading up to the event. When we arrived everything was setup as exactly as we discussed. The waitstaff and bartender for our party were professional, prepared, and friendly. Our group of 40 people had a fantastic night. I don’t think our event could have gone any better.

Food and service were excellent. Sangria is made fresh for each customer. An excellent wine selection and there was live music.

Excellent food, solid service, grea atmosphere

I was there for my family a couple of days ago for Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful time. The buffet was amazing. More food than I can eat and quite a variety. I loved the prime rib and the salmon! The staff was very pleasant and helpful and I made sure to thank them for working the holiday so that my family could have a nice dinner. I would love to go back next year.

This place is a 2 in 1. One side is a party scene with loud music and booths around a bar while the other side is more fancy and quiet. However both sides serve the same menu. I had the boneless wing basket and fries. Personally the best chicken I ever had! The perfect crisp and flavor! The Turkey burger and fries were a hit as well. As for the long island, let's just say it is not for the weak 😂😂

The Jersey Tots are great. Nice pairing of long-hots and diced pork roll with melted american cheese. It just works. It is huge, so definitely shareable. We also liked the Philly cheese steak spring rolls. Nice dipping sauce and luckily no onions. Delish.

Honestly, they should be getting 0 stars. This place is a complete joke. I was interested in the Madison as my venue but after learning that a certain person isn't there anymore, I backed out. This place is unprofessional, disrespectful, and do not care about your well being. They just care about what you are spending. It's a shame because they have the potential to be a great venue. They have a gorgeous space, but their employees make this an awful venue! 0/10 do not recommend. You can find such better venues with such better values, somewhere else. They must offer their brides discounts to write reviews, because after talking with a few people, I am certainly not the only person to fell this way. Save yourself the headache and find another venue.Also, food took a huge downfall.

Wonderful buffet for mother's day. Made to order omelettes, ham, prime rib, great selection of fruits. Nice dessert table. Once again I ate too much!

Great nightspot ,restaurant & event catering in one.

This is a very nice restaurant. They have outdoor seating with an open fire. The food is delicious. There was a carving station with turkey, steak and ham. There was also oyster, shrimp, lobster and many other food options. I also enjoyed the dessert and wine. The server was so polite. I look forward to going there again.

Diane (the manager) does an amazing job. She has great attention to detail and somehow knows exactly what we need before we have a chance to ask for it. She has made every visit special. Thank you Diane!

Extremely responsive, charming, and accommodating. Julie was very helpful with planning a private event, and Tom, Jeff, and the rest of the staff did an amazing job while were there. The courtyard was perfect for our event, and the food (as always) was exceptional. Would highly recommend for a nice meal or private events.

We only been here on two occasions for holiday buffets...great selection for everyone including apps (hummus, cheese and meats, raw bar, grilled veggies, salads and assorted hot and cold hors d’oeuvres); Hot entrée (Sliced, ham, lamb and prime rib, short ribs, salmon, crab cakes, various veggies and potato dishes); Desserts (cookies, mousse pops, pies, cakes and cheese cake, cannoli, eclair’s and cream puffs)...Overall great experience, nice professional servers who take very good care of you, management makes sure food is replenished. The restaurant is well appointed with beautiful bar, wood accents and fireplaces inside and out. Open kitchen.

Sad to see this place deteriorate. Not sure what the construction walls are up for, but this place used to be our little New York in South Jersey. They used to have menus that had a backlight, they used to have a very energetic vibe, and a very appealing menu. During this most recent visit which was on a Saturday night, there were only about five or six tables in use total. Half the restaurant was blocked off due to construction, and the menu had much fewer options than before.Service was adequate, but the food and service combined did not come closer to warranting the price paid.

Food was good as always nice place

We hosted a graduation party at The Madison and it was wonderful! There was a mix up in the beginning but the staff did everything they could to make it right without making me feel like I was asking too much. The pictures do not do this place justice. The building inside and out is gorgeous. The food was delicious and the service was perfect. Definitely so happy we chose The Madison.

Julie Gonzales was an amazing host and leader in our event. My mother just turned 70 and retired from 30 years of teaching. What an important day to honor a life long servant of the community. Julie helped with everything and made everyone feel so comfortable and like one of the family. I recommend her to always be in your corner when planning any event!

I recently had my wedding at this location (ceremony and reception) and both went very well and could not be happier. Jessica and Julie (event coordinators) were very easy to work with. When we initially went in for our food tasting there were some changes we requested, and come the day of everything was great. We can’t wait to come back for dinner on the outside patio (looks fantastic when set up for dinner).

Wonderful Valentines meal! Every course was generous and delicious. The atmosphere is charming especially the music which captures your attention but does not overwhelm you or your conversation. Perfect choice for a perfect dinner!

Good food although menu changes so if there is something you like and you haven't been in a while, you might not be able to get the same choices. Staff is good, atmosphere is nice, a little bit pricey when they don't have their fixed price menu.

I was one of the singers for their New Years Eve paryy food and service was SUPERB!! In a addition to that, the surroundings are extremely beautiful and elegant!!

I have been to the Madison several times and the food was excellent, and the service was great. Apparently the chef left and the food is a shadow of its former self. It seems like the main ingredient is salt. The lobster Mac and cheese and the ravioli were inedible. It’s such a shame to see a once great dinner venue slip so far.

I liked the decor. Great collection. I enjoyed the live music. Great services. Staff were courteous.

Decent food. Overly friendly wait staff (over shared). Not worth the cost, but good. It is just that the prices would justify great food.Loud air conditioner. The pianist was the best part of the night. Amazing talent.

We’ve provided DJ and photography service here at The Madison a few times. Good service and food! What else do you want?

What is not to love? Great atmosphere, wonderful service. Fantastic food and all around perfect evening .

So the place is beautiful, and that's where it ends.. I went for an awards dinner and couldn't believe the quality and quantity of food. They had a Lobster bisque that tasted like dirt, so much so that if you looked around you could see the staff taking back 90% of what was given.. Then the salad had green tomatoes in it. Like seriously! How is this even an oversight.. Onto the main course, the chicken was tasty however you got a few green beans and a few small potato wedges. It was like an appetizer. The Cheesecake for dessert wasn't bad, however most of the berries that were given with it were mushy, soft and some flat. Not impressed and wouldn't recommend for gatherings. I cannot speak for their normal sit down dinners though, which I hope are good..

The Madison was definitely an amazing experience. From the reservation process for our event (Julie was great!) to the actual event (Diana was wonderful!), everything was perfect! The staff was not only attentive but kind and courteous and made the shower absolutely perfect! The food was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this venue and will be planning a few more events there! Outstanding!

Beautiful facilty for wedding reception. My daughter is having her reception here. Many rooms to select from. Rooms for wedding party to get ready. Accommodate room to your taste. Customer service is superb.

Fantastic Experience!!From the moment I went to see the Madison I knew that this was where I wanted to have my wedding. Not only is it a beautiful unique venue with beauty inside out but great food and awesome staff. Jessica and Julie were absolutely fantastic. I am a Type A personality and they were welcoming to all the questions that I had and available to assist when needed the day of. They made sure that my husband and I had all that we needed. They made the day all that I imagined and I would recommend it highly!!

Wow!!! We had such an amazing time at our cousins wedding. The Madison really made the event spectacular. They set up this tremendous tent that not only was decorated perfectly for a wedding reception, but in my opinion was better than a traditional ballroom. The staff was super attentive and the food was amazing. They pulled off a wedding that we will never forget but also practiced every single CDC guideline. They had hand sanitizer set up before entering the tent as well as offering medical grade face masks. They truly made an unforgettable event.

Been to a wedding/reception and a work Holiday party. Food was phenomenal, staff was attentive and presented everything with grace and a smile. Can't recommend this place highly enough!
